The last 48 hours have been frustrating for me as this site has been targeted with lots and lots of spam comments. I get an email every time someone comments whether the comment is approved or gets caught in my filter and needs approval. Let’s just say I’m getting a lot of email these days. In an effort to curb the spamming, I’m going to close comments on all comics and blog posts that are more than a month old. We get very few comments on older comics anyway, so I don’t think it’s a huge loss. You can always email us if you feel the need to respond to something in our archives.

[Update]: Just saw that one of my anti-spam plugins was disabled. I don’t know how that happened, but maybe that’s the problem!

I’ve been getting a lot of feedback about my Galaxy review from various places, including a large amount at GoNintendo. It sounds like people hate me over there… Things they have been saying really started to irk me when reading them - it wasn’t my intention to throw people into cursing rages. When they start assuming things about me that are incorrect is when I care a little less about what they have to say. Because then I know for a fact they’ve got it all wrong when they’re basing their argument off of a false pretence.

Some of them are clearly level-headed though, and I appreciate that. If anything, I’ve come under a lot of attack for saying “it’s hard to think of a Zelda game that could have been any more perfect than what I just saw (in twilight princess)” All the big Zelda fans apparently do not feel the same way, and it’s made me realize something:

You may be surprised at what I say in this review, but it’s only because I’m very passionate about great games.

Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there! Ray and I are certainly thankful for all our readers who make it worthwhile for us to keep making comics. I’ll be honest, it would be difficult to pour our time into this without the feedback we get from you guys, so know that even when we don’t respond, you guys keep us going! Anyway, let us know if you have any “Thanksgiving gaming” stories to tell as this is always a great time to show off games to family and friends. And good luck with the Black Friday shopping!
