A More Serious Animal Crossing Comic
November 20th, 2008

A lot of you may have seen this awhile back, but since it’s related to this week’s comic, I thought I’d share it with those who hadn’t seen it! This is a very touching comic revolving around Animal Crossing. The original was just a comic, but I like the animated version as well.

Also related to the comic: The terrible secret of Animal Crossing
Very long but very funny read.
Animated version isn’t working for me. But this comic definitely tells a great, yet tragic story. Really nice to see that video games have potential for happiness
I cried, which is totally out of character for me… This is what games can do for people. They take them to different worlds and give them expirences that they otherwise couldn’t. I wish more games just did that.
Awesome. That’s really all there is to it. But was the writer sure that some of the presents weren’t from the AC character’s mom? XD
Aww! That was pretty sweet and sad.
That was so touching, yet very sad. Thanks for sharing, Tim.
aww… I told myself I wasn’t going to read that again; I remember it from a year or so back. But of course I read it again. Makes me thankful I’ll be seeing my own mom next week as it’s been over a year.
The music from the animated version…isn’t something from Final Fantasy X(-2)?
IIRC it is To Zanarkand, which was the music to the intro for FFX
to mbillard
omg i’ll never look at animal crossing in the same way again, it was funny at first but then freaked me out. poor nook
and i knew gyroids were bad
That was absolutley brilliant! A much darker explanation of Animal Crossing, and it makes perfect sense too!
Oh damn, I’ll never play Animal Crossing again.
awwww that is soo sad, i bet u were so guilty after reading those letters.i wish my mom would get into animal crossing. all she plays is tetris. sorry about your mom
p.s. its so cute to notice that you look like her
