Not much to say other than “Happy Birthday!”
*throws confetti*
YOU’RE 27?! How come I wasn’t invited to your party?!
Gee, I’m surprised that it’s been over half an hour and there are only two comments so far (including me). Usually there about a bazillion comments within ten minutes! I can just picture some of these 2P START! obsessed people just leaning over their computer all day on the 2P START! homepage, just clicking the refresh button all day . . . LOL!
Happy Birthday!
Woah Woah Woah wait up…
your only 27…
and already your married?
What the heck is wrong with you!
Happy Birthday, Tim! Hope it was good! And while I’m at it, Merry Christmas to everybody that reads it! And New Year! And Hanukkah! And Kwanzaa! And all the rest!
happy birthday! that is the day in which you can grab all the corn you want, regardless of the pirates! you can sing in your caves before the antelope come again! But most of all…
your birthday is another reason to drink hard liqueur and think you’re stealing corn from pirates and singing in caves, fearful of antelope.
someone’s gotta kill the babysitter!
Happy Birthday Tim!!!
Do you get presents on both days or only one?
One more year closer to your death jk.
27 is too young to get married call 156-252-5683 for a good time (look at your phone if you dont get the joke)

You know sometimes I wonder if I am awake when I post these things
Yeaaahhh….I could never imagine what that’s like….*shifty eyes*
I don’t do that, I just check my feeds every second to see if there is anything new.
By the way, HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY!
Merry (belated by 22 min) Birtheday!
Happy birthday! My little brother has a similar predicament (birthday’s on Dec. 28th), but he usually gets his birthday presents on his half-birthday to spread the wealth
Yeah, I know how that feels.. my birthday (I’m 20 now, whee) is on the 24th of December. Meh.
Either way, happy birthday. 🙂
Happy Birthday Tim!
Everyone else, don’t keep saying he’s too young for marriage. Some people are pregnant at th age of 16. Now THAT’S young.
My geography teacher (24) is also married.
lolz
Happy Barfday!
happy birthday!!!!!!! New Achievement Unlocked for Tim! – Happy Bday – anounch that it is your birthday on a great website!
My English teacher is 22 and still lives with his mom
Okay, now that’s just hilarious! But I think about 23 or older is good for marriage.
It’s not that he’s to young to get married,
it’s… is it too fast?
Happy Birthday Tim!
Wow 2pstart has gotten very ethical.
Being married rocks.
That is all

You’d be suprised how little teachers get paid. I know, I have a friend who’s teaching just out of college at a high school. If he didn’t have his girlfriends waitressing income to rely on, he’d be doing the same thing. We say we want better education and yet give teachers barely enough to live off. And oh yeah, he’s pulling in $22K. Which means if he quits teaching right now and works at McDonalds for 45-50 hours a week, he’ll be pulling in the same amount of income.
Yea the system is really corrupt. The teachers should get paid more than most people becuase 1. they have to deal with kids which gets really tiring. 2. They are helping society more than most people.
sheppy, you mean 22000$ a year? That’s 3 times the ammount teachers get in Hungary.
Also Tim at least your B-day is not Christmas (I have two acquaintances who have that situation).
And half what they get in the UK. You can’t really compare though. It all comes down to the cost of living.
If you can get more money from working at McDonalds than teaching then there’s something very wrong though.
Well yeah, let’s see.
Here, teachers get 100,000Ft (forint not feet) a month for about 5*6=30 hours of work a week -> 120 hours a month.
The wage in McDonalds is 400Ft/hour, so that’s 48,000Ft for 120 hours.
Teachers work for about 6 hours a day right?
Teachers work well beyond the time they leave school. My stepmothers a teacher and she goes into work at 5:30am, comes home at 4-5 IF she’s not supposed to supervise some game or something. About half of her weekend goes to grading papers, just like her evenings go. Not to mention lesson plans. My friend who just started teaching this year puts in similar time.
MOST teachers I know put in at least 9-10 hours a weeday.
Plus you need to look at the job skills. To be a teacher, you need to make it through college and (most likely) be a student teacher/TA for a while. There’s also a lot of work that goes into it.
To work at McDonalds, you need to wear a uniform and ask people if they want fries.
Yes but teachers also get more holidays. You have to take that to account too.
Is it just me, or are a LOT of people born in December?
(Happy Belated Birthday!!)
Joining the discussion about teachers, they deserve way more money then what they get. As said, they put in a lot of their personal time, some teachers hace to put in their own money to pay for things for the class. They are the ones responsible for educating the people that will be taking over nations, they are responsible for teaching future scientists, politicians, everything… They help shape the people of America, and every country, and yet they are paid so little despite having important and necessary jobs. Yet despite the meager pay, they continue to do the job, because they know they are doing a good thing.
And they get tons of time off. That too. 😛
But seriously, teachers are very important and deserve the utmost respect. As long as they are competent.
Sadly, there are too many incompetent teachers in the system…
If you pay peanuts you get monkeys. The best and brightest will often go where the money is. The great teachers are often people who care more about the kids than their pay packet.
The added holidays are nice, but the most committed teachers will be spending a lot of that time making resources for the next term.
Yea thank god we have some people who really love teaching.
