Sorry for the late comic today, but Ray’s back and things are back to normal now, meaning everything will be late again. Just kidding, if Ray were gone one more day, the comic duties would have fallen to me! That’s not a situation that should ever happen again, so I’m glad to see in Ray’s limited time back he was able to put together a quality comic. On the subject of Indiana Jones, I must say I’m really looking forward to the new movie. The humor in Indiana Jones is just so great and really unparalleled in other action movies. Action movie humor tends to be very cheesy and cliched and most of the time you wish they’d stop trying. The Lego Indiana Jones game, on the other hand, I could care less about. I know everyone raves about the Lego Star Wars games, but based on my short time with an Xbox Live demo, I just don’t get what all the fuss is about. Maybe some of you can clue me in!

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these, but see if you can guess what game this image is from! Also, Ray is back in town and is starting work on tomorrow’s comic, let him know how much you missed him! If you’re new to this little game, rules are posted after the break. Good luck!

Ray will be back just in time to make this week’s comic, so one final push to update the site before he returns. The code I wrote for custom logos to display with all of our archived comics is now FULLY functional, so feel free to browse the archives and see the matching logos with the comics. On that note, wouldn’t it be really cool if Ray made custom logos for ALL our old comics? We only started doing that about 6 months ago, but it would be great to have the older comics with matching logos too. Anyway, I’ve also updated Ray’s Brawl Album on the Brawl page to link to a cool flash-based polaroid album. It’s just another fun way to check out Ray’s Brawl snapshots, so enjoy!

We’re getting earlier and earlier with these podcasts (Andrew should be happy). With Ray away, the podcast is missing a little music, but that doesn’t mean the content will suffer. This action-packed episode features Ray’s brother Eddie who joins the discussion of the new Nintendo Channel along with everything else!

Am I the only one who finds the results of this question just a LITTLE sad? Where are your priorities, people?!? Can someone please explain to me why, if given a choice to do one or the other, you would choose to help an animal over a person? What if the question was more like, “Would you rather: feed a starving child or neuter a stray dog?” or “If you could only save one from a burning building, would you: save the baby or save the puppy?” I know those are extreme examples, but I still can’t imagine being more fulfilled or feeling better about helping an animal over a human. I guess Wii owners have played a little too much Nintendogs…

Well, it’s finally done. I’ve updated the Extras page with lots of new content. It’s not perfect, and could use some more work, but it will do for now. I’d rather get it out there for you guys to see and tweak things later. The highlight of the extras page will be Ray’s Brawl Photo Album linked from the Smash Bros. page. He’s got lots of great shots there to check out. The Logo Archive is now live too as well as all of Ray’s game reviews. Hope you all enjoy!

[Update]: I’m on a roll! I finally wrote some code to change the logo to match the comic you’re viewing. Go back through the archives and check it out! (Note: some comics don’t have a matching logo because we only started doing that 6 months ago, but the more recent comics should all have matching logos!) Looks like it wasn’t ready for prime-time, one more bug to fix…
