2P START! Live!: E for All Did Not Suck Edition

2P START! Live!

TimOur latest podcast is now live in both m4a and mp3 formats. You can listen to it in this post after the break, or subscribe to our feed to get it in iTunes or in your rss reader of choice. This edition is all about E for All and our experiences at the expo. Don’t believe all the gaming media outlets that are saying it was lame and worthless. I mean, Brawl was there, how could you not enjoy it? Anyway, give it a listen and let us know what you think!

😀 Funny stuff guys. I went back to listen to your first podcast before this. I fully endorse (endorse?) this podcast. I mainly just listen to IGN’s Wiik in Review, (and admittedly I suffer through the practically anti-Nintendo Gamescoop) but every once in a while I’ll try a new podcast. I usually don’t like them, but I think I’ll keep listening to 2p Start! Live! I just like the laid back pace, yet fairly structured format. It’s also got just enough Nintendo bias to keep me satisfied! Plus you guys don’t piss me off, and seem like good/cool dudes. Haha, that didn’t come out so great, but I’m stickin’ to it!

Oh yeah, I don’t know if you remember me or whatever, but I do read the comics from time to time and comment once in a while. Peace!

P.S. I remember reading that comment you mentioned about Tim’s comic. I just rolled my eyes. And Tim, you should seriously consider doing another comic at some point. I liked it!

Thanks for the kind words, Lava. It means a lot. I try pretty hard not to piss people off, so I’m glad it’s working!

Pretty good podcast, sounds like you had fun at E For All.

But one thing: Is Ray’s girlfriend’s name surrounded by hearts popping up while he stammers “Oh, I told her I was doing a podcast today!” going to be a regular feature of the show? I hope to hell not. After two of them it’s already suicide-inducingly annoying.

Other than that, it was a very enjoyable podcast. I like short, segmented feel, as too many podcasts are just a bunch of guys talking for an hour, with lots of awkward pauses *cough*Joystiq*cough*.

Keep up the good work guys.

Thanks for the harsh words, Blaggers. I will give the Jessica Barriga section some serious thought before we use it again. I think there’s some potential to it, but we haven’t quite hit the mark with the type of humor I’ve had in mind just yet.

Geez, I just reread what I wrote and it does seem too harsh >_> I’m sorry if I came off as rude in my previous comments

  6. Tim says:

It’s alright Blaggers, we’ve got tough skin. We do appreciate criticism as we want the podcast (and the comic for that matter) to be stuff people want to keep coming back for. The harsh words weren’t necessary, but the criticism is appreciated. No hard feelings!

  7. Lava says:

Haha, don’t listen to that talk! The “Ray’s girlfriend” segment is great! Well, great is kind of an overstatement, but keep it anywayl.
