Man, I missed some good podcasts at the beginning. I really should’ve gone back and listened, but I can’t stand listening to old news no matter what it is. Poor Jessica, no video game knowledge, and some tough breaks from the listeners.
I don’t know about you guys, but I prefer Sonic Boom to Super Sonic Racing. Maybe, its just me. But is there a chance we can get Tim’s rendition of Super Sonic Racing in mp3 format? That’d be awesome. I could definitly fall asleep to that.

No surprise with Brawl. None whatsoever. But Bioshock did in fact “shock” me. I didn’t think Donkey Kong’s super soccer move was that intense. 🙂
Aww, poor Super Mario Sluggers. No love to it at all from Tim. And I have not played that or Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, but I was pretty sure it would be no good, beat down trash.
Umm, I take back what I said about Charles Martinet. Black Doom is much creepier. Oh God, the horror of the memories of that godawful game.
Once again, Charmy gets hated on. But Betty the Badger was alright. Oh wait, that’s right, it was never in a Sonic game therefore avoiding any negative connotation associated.
I’m actually surprised that Sonic and the Black Knight didn’t get the ultimate Black Doom award. But funny you mention the water mark, because I still haven’t gotten my new cover either.

Actually, I’m not going to do my usual wall of text this time.
But anyway, good podcast, I was expecting a lot from this podcast, but that’s my own fault, the podcast was good.
All the guests were so nice weren’t they?
For me, my favorite comic was the Mario Kart Wii one…I don’t really know why, but I thought that was very funny.
However, I do like the Koopa and Goomba story arch for one reason…at the AA meeting, there was a Metroid. Which brings me to my next point: This site SEVERELY lacks Metroid content….seriously, wasn’t there only one Metroid related comic, which was a guest comic?
And I knew you guys would pick the podcast you did. My favorite podcasts are the ones where I get to rant about stuff.
Giving ??? the award really did make me laugh…which again brings me to another point, the Knubby awards, while a great name, were a tad bit disappointing. You only actually gave one reader the award and I was surprised that throughout the podcast, the names Dj#####, D3vin, lwelyk, Meta-Ridley, Sheppy, Metal_Link, and more names I forgot were not mentioned. I kinda expected awards like ‘Most Active Reader’ and things like that, kinda what Dj described all the posts ago…actually wait, wasn’t that the Baddest Company comic? That was the first comic I every posted on btw.
Okay, best and worst games:
Brawl…awesome. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption the epitome of awesome.
Bioshock…really? Wasn’t expecting that. I’m used to hearing about Wii games.
Worst games:
Sluggers: Okay, seriously, Tim, I don’t know what game you were playing, but it was not THAT bad. Like Ray, I’d give it a 7. It seems you were expecting a bit too much. It did what I expected it to do and that was all that mattered. And I’m sorry, but I couldn’t even play like an hour of Secret Rings, that was way worse.
And I also would give Mario & Sonic a 7 or so. I thought it was pretty good. I still play it occasionally. It’s a good workout. XD
Not very opinionated on any of the Black Doom Awards…in fact, I really couldn’t care less about the IGN watermark…
Random: But did I hear Pikmin music/sound effects?
And that’s about it. Can’t wait until Wednesday, and I can’t wait until season two. I guess I’ll have to use Dancing with the Stars to try to make-up for the lack of a podcast…

Hey guys, just wanted to say awesome podcast. I haven’t really watched the pod casts until like last week but now I know what I am doing every Monday.
I agree that you guys are gonna be on a long time, especially agreeing with the Sonic thing, he has been around a long time, even though the garbage released lately. Other than Sonic Racing, it was so amazing. But, other stuff has bombed, like sonic battle.
I always did love that song as well. You should so take recordings of your own performances of all the Sonic R songs, and put them up so we can download them. I would so download it, at least, put Sonic Racing.
God, Martinet is so strange, he sounds like a rapist. It was creepy, epspecially the second time!
And now my Knubby opinion…
First, I wish I had gotten one. But, I didn’t really expect to get one anyway. Congrats All, who won, there is always next year, and I hope to get one… And Tim and Ray, Benjamin says I should win, if you know what I mean? I also remember back then at the 9th issue. WTF, when you said Super Sluggers, I was like WTF!! I don’t really agree with the SSBB, but probably because I am a PS3 fanboy at heart… even though I don’t let it show… So mine would have gone to Metal Gear Solid 4. But for their respective consoles that I have played I agree with you guys. I played The Secret Rings, if it was on 360, otherwise that was another one and it sucked. God, like all those Sonic characters suck! So the ultimate Black Doom, would be the best, horrible, occurrence?
I agree with the Okami one, but I never heard the 6th episode, but the replacement cover thing is horrible! I don’t have a Wii so I am kind of off on this but I heard of it.
The praise comments were awesome. The honorable mentions for the the praise awards, the creepy ones, but they are AMAZING! The comment on all we need is each other, although, I cannot tell who is Tim and Ray, but that is probably because I have only heard one before this. The Chuck thing was pretty awesome. Congratulations, Anon, yours was definitely the best, even counting the crazy ones.
I will make sure to listen to more pod casts now. The chicken thing confused me, could anyone help me out?

Awww… I don’t think I could go on for another week without you guys. There was some serious lack of Podcasts this last week for me. Not much going on and as such, very boring. I also lost track of what day it was because some of my favorite podcasts were not going on. And by some, I mean one and by favorite podcasts I mean podcast.
Actually, all of the audio podcasts (a grand total of 3) that I listen to are on Wednesdays. So I still have something to listen to even when one is missing, but I still missed you two this last week.
Why can’t you see that we are meant to be together forever?!

I suppose I should say my best and worst games of the year.
Best: SSBB and the Orange Box (I couldn’t really decide)
Worst: Hmm… I suppose Shadow the Hedgehog. I decided to try and play it again. So, yeah, it still sucks. 😛 Although, that wasn’t released this year so… I have no idea. I tend to buy games that don’t suck.
I had no idea that Black Doom would show up as a guest! That was quite a surprise! I also had no idea that Ray screwed up the Black Doom Award intro so many times.
Darn. I didn’t win a single award. 🙁 Oh well. There’s always next year! 😀
And I’m glad that the Chicken Grab made a reappearance.
Finally, amazing podcast guys. This is easilly the best podcast you guys have done. Not the funniest, it’s going to take a lot to dethrone Black Doom Edition. This one seems the best made, with all of the editting and such. Keep up the great work! I eagerly await Season 2! (And sorry for my long comment!)
Also, a bit of criticism that I didn’t mention before: I didn’t really like the guest callers segment. Part of what I like about your podcasts is they are spontaneously funny and that you guys are pretty much just coming up with funny stuff as you talk to each other. The guest calls just seemed too forced to me. It could just be me and my dislike for forced humor (it certainly seems like other people enjoyed that segment), but I didn’t really find them that great. Eddie’s was OK, but that might be because it didn’t seem as forced as the others (besides the obvious part at the beginning).
Although I do have to say, the Charles Martinet part cracked me up. That was great!
We hear you CKcheeseboy, while I enjoyed Eddie’s call quite a bit, we don’t want to make a scripted show that we just act out each week. This podcast wasn’t a typical one since it was the season finale, so I think it was alright, but I get your point. There will be plenty of spontaneous banter in season 2!
Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that all of a sudden I think your podcasts will all be scripted and I won’t listen anymore, but I just figured I’d mention it.

Love the whole knubby awards thing, but I missed the changing images (of course, they could have changed and I didn’t see them…). I like the phone calls, even if they were scripted, they seemed real and were really funny because of the “behind the scenes” stuff. 🙂
Okay, now the chicken grab has intrigued me. Someone needs to make a flash game with it – preferably one of those terribly done ones where an image of Tim blatantly ripped from the strip runs around a chicken yard with terrible controls and tries to catch chickens. The sound for this podcast’s and previous podcast’s chicken segments is used and annoyingly looped over the course of the game and the chickens that have blasters would be able to kill Tim with one hit, and MOST of the chickens would have blasters just to make it inexorably and obnoxiously difficult. Also, the game could have a system where it switches back and forth between Tim and Ray (whose graphic is also blatantly ripped from the comic), sort of like the old Mario and Luigi games.
I won’t be the one to make the game described because a) even though I’m good at programming I’ve yet to finish a game that I started on a whim and b) if I’m going to make the game, I’m not going to have to make it good. 😀
Oh, and I would like to add that I also believe that the next Nubbies Awards should have more awards. This year had like only 4 or 5.
Starts with “K” and ends with “Onami”. lol! Also, Mario Super Sluggers was that bad?
Love the fake audience that you guys make fun of in the newest postmortem. (I can tell its fake by the lack of laughter from the audience in the Mario parts and that they fall off the face of the earth until the end)
