Tim’s Take: Artist’s Block Overcome

TimSo you may have noticed that the artistic style of today’s comic is a little different. I would ask that any compliments about the artwork be kept to yourselves as I don’t want to hurt Ray’s feelings. Just know that I appreciate the compliments you would be saying about my artistic style if I wasn’t so thoughtful as to look out for Ray’s feelings. But seriously, Ray had too much going on so he couldn’t draw. The options were not touching the site for another week, or having me put up a lame comic. If putting up the lame comic is worse than no comic at all, please let us know. We promise not to do it too often and will work extra hard to get a double serving of laughter out of next week’s offering. Until then, have fun with Super Paper Mario!

    ???

you should have spent two weeks on making a good comic, instead of this one. And you’re right about the 2P start popularity chart. This comic used to be funny about 2 or 3 issues ago.

Hey. Don’t listen to a guy who doesn’t even deserve a name. Some people don’t really understand that people write/illustrate webcomics have lives outside of the internet.
This comic wasn’t that bad, anyhow. But you know what you could do to have your ass covered in the future? Make a lot of friends with other webcomics (link to them, have them link back to you), and then maybe you’d be able to squeeze a guest strip out of them on the off week you’re busy. Guest strips at this moment seem a bit early, but for the future, it’s an idea.

Thanks Andrew, we appreciate the support. We know this comic sucks (as that was sort of the point without Ray around), but it really would be great to have guest strips as some future date.

Hey, this place is pretty funny.

Its sorrowful that your artist had to take some time, but its not a big deal.

Heh. Don’t listen to them, I really enjoy reading these, even if I don’t see a new one every day. The part that separates them is the quality.

    And these, have quality.

Thanks Noodle, we’re working on the next one right now, Ray says it’ll be a long night, but that’s only because he’s the artist. I’ll be going to bed shortly and getting a good night’s sleep. The new comic should be posted in the morning. Hope you enjoy it!

As long as its here and the joke is acceptable it’s okay. 2P Start has the #1 artstyle for me (not including this one) though it is, in my opinion, #1 with VGcats. I love that place too. I don’t like penny arcade though.
