I liked the Comic, it just needed a little more work, Like Sonic ‘06
You should have made the single panel bigger, requiring the user to physically scroll the page over to the end.
I liked the Remix, Oil ocean is the only level I can complete in that game without destroying a badnik, too bad there isn’t a ‘pacifist’ bonus.
That song for the musical misfits originally came from the Sega arcade game ‘Out-Run’ and is used on the Name entry. (do I win something?)

Nice podcast guys. And for the record, I liked this comic AND the Mario steroids one too.
This was one of the first things I mentioned to Tim, but he wasn’t sure if he could implement it without screwing up every comic that came before it.
I get the feeling that other megaman comic is about Megaman Legends >_>

Woah! Super short but nice podcast this week! I don’t really have much to say. I thought the comic was decent, but a lot of those ideas you guys mentioned would have made it much better.
On an unrelated note, I finally got the Homebrew Channel installed! I’ve only messed around with it a tiny bit, but I’m definitely going to look into the Brawl modifications.
I feel like we get about 3 REALLY good podcasts in a row and then a good one, that is obviously, good, but not as good as the previous ones. Unfortunately I feel like this week it was that comic that was entertaining, but there’s not really anything I’m going to remember about it later. In fact I only jotted down three things this time.
1. I think part of the problem with the comic was that there just aren’t too many Megaman fans like there are fans of other games.
2. Now wait…did you guys ever even mention the iPhone game by name?
3. Uhh….If I was to rate PETA’s actions about the circus game from a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being absolutely absurd and 1 being the right thing to do…I’d give their actions a 5. That particular circus is in fact very bad in that regard, though I guess boycotting a video game about it is a bit over the top, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable buying the game myself.

The whole time you were saying “Myst” in the podcast, I thought you were saying “this” which was really frustrating me. Serious facepalm on that one. XD
Anyway, you guys’ conversation towards the beginning of the podcast got me thinking- I really love this site. Almost everyone on the site is awesome and considerate, the comics/podcasts are funny, and there’s just a sense of community you really don’t get anywhere else. So yeah, sorry for blathering on, but warm fuzzies for everyone.

So is it Tim’s fault for making changes or your fault for asking his opinion? This comic is a paradox wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a riddle all rolled into Mega Man’s helmet!
Yeah that’s a pretty good setup you guys have going for you…even on an off comic, we still want you to do better so you get constructive criticism, not “YoU SUxoRz!! LaWL!” like you see on youtube.

At least you’re not taking this one as bad as the “Mario steroids” debacle. And puns have never been my favorite type of humor unless they’re dead on. I guess if this was somehow incorperated into a larger comic as a ’side joke’ (much like the “Living the Dream” comic had side-jokes) I would’ve enjoyed it more. But it feels like less content for one comic than we normally get. But don’t worry, its been 37 weeks since Mario Steroids so that’s like, 3 ‘bad’ comics a year. That’s pretty darn good if you ask me.
Why is it wt-40? WD-40 is the lubricant most commonly used for foosball tables. That would be punny (or just appropriate because its Oil Ocean.

PETA annoys me. I agree that animals should be treated well, but I think their method is crap. Going after this game is going to solve nothing, and just makes them look ridiculous, lowering their overall effectiveness when they try to do something that actually matters. it is very easy to write of anything PETA says because of things like this. Also, I like to eat animals. They are tasty.

Guys…regarding the comments that readers of your comics express disappointment in some of your comics: how many times have you read a Peanuts or some other very famous comic and thought it was just ok, but you keep reading them because you know that the next ones will be funny? Even the best comic artists don’t hit a home run every time. Your readers should cut you some slack……
