Clearly babies are on the brain for me, but hopefully that’s not an entirely bad thing for the comic. Someone had mentioned doing a Kirby comic, and I thought that inventing a baby Kirby would be fun since Nintendo hasn’t done it yet. Ray definitely helped ‘nurture’ this idea along as I was about to throw the baby out with the bath water. I think we probably ‘milked’ the idea for all it was worth. Did I mention babies on the brain?

I giggled a lot on this one. Especially between panels 5 and 6. My mind filled in the blanks with the motion I know for kirby swallowing stuff and was pleased.
I also really enjoyed the grainy effect over the panels when kiddie kirby is crying. Because that is what my day feels like when Logan is crying.

The colors are awesome in this one. That’s the first thing I need to say. The first two and last panel especially; I love the effect.
I’d also say it falls under my top 10 (don’t quote me, I’d need to look back). It has that idea of something simple used to make a great joke. NCG indeed
The graphic style for this comic is so perfect. It reminds me of both nails being dragged across a chalkboard and a baby crying which, really, aren’t that different. I am finally approving. Here is your well-earned NCG.

Kirbaby looks surprisingly similar to a light bulb in his ‘milk power’ form.
Tim, I think you should get a bottle for Lily in the same shape as milk-power Kirbaby. That would be pretty cool.
Also, I really like the noise pollution effect that Kirbaby’s scream has on the comic. I think we need to get an animated version of this. And anybody else for wallpaper of the last panel? 🙂

As much as I hate the idea of being a zombie, I feel that I have to “rise from my grave” for this one. The cycle of emotions in this comic seem to parallel my reactions when I do the Kirby dance taunt in Smash. The annoyance of being beat down to the joy of pulling off an amazing come from behind smash to the confusion of when I am inevitably smashed off the screen due to my vulnerability as I taunt. This emotional waltz is beautifully represented here with a combination of stunning colors and overwhelming cuteness. Well done, sirs. Well done.

I just realized…
If Kirbaby drank his own tears in the last panel, then he’d be satisfied and wouldn’t be crying anymore, but then if he’s not crying he’d have no milk, and thus he’d start crying, which would give him the milk he wants, etc….

Here’s a tip: use a pacifier. Baby kirby wouldn’t be able to swallow it.

Wait, does Kirby have teeth? I didn’t think he did.
After all, teeth (in a peaceful creature such as Kirby) are only there to aid in the process of mechanical digestion- but Kirby doesn’t use mechanical digestion as he only swallows.
Are Kirbys born with teeth to help their swallowing as they mature, only to fall out when they become proficient at their swallow abilities?
If that’s the reason then why does Kirbaby only have one tooth?

I just noticed, in the third panel, where Kirbaby is drinking from the bottle, the milk level isn’t high enough for him/her/it/whatever-the-hell-gender-it-is to drink. Is that a mistake?
I think that it is, but to justify it, Kirbaby wasn’t getting any milk out of the bottle, and started sucking harder until it inhaled the whole bottle. Proceed to panel 4.
You don’t have time for anything anymore. We miss you Ray.
Also what if kirby swallowed baby kirby? Would it become a super kirby or a medium sized kirby?
